The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend an announcement tomorrow (Thursday, July 24) with staff and volunteers from the Virginia Park Community Centre.

The announcement will take place at Pleasant View Towers, 65 Newfoundland Drive, St. John’s, in the East Multi-Purpose Room 1E-026 at 10:00 a.m.

Premier Hogan will join Ron Ellsworth, board chair of the Virginia Park Community Centre, for the announcement. They will be joined by the Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, the Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development and MHA for Virginia Waters-Pleasantville, Victoria Mullins, Executive Director of the Virginia Park Community Centre, and His Worship Danny Breen, Mayor of the City of St. John’s.

Members of the media are asked to park near the main entrance to the facility, off Newfoundland Drive. Staff will greet media at that entrance upon arrival.
