The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will make a health care announcement Monday, July 28, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Corner Brook Community Health Centre, the former Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Premier Hogan will be joined by the Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Health and Community Services, and the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Jobs, Immigration and Growth and MHA for Corner Brook.

Following the announcement, NL Health Services will lead a media tour of work progressing on a new transitional care unit at the centre.

As the site is an active construction zone, personal protective equipment is mandatory. Safety vests and hard hats will be available but members of the media are asked to provide their own safety footwear. As well, for safety reasons, legs must be covered while touring the building – pants or leggings are acceptable.
