The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be available to the media today (Tuesday, August 12) for an update on the status of the wildfires in the province.

Premier Hogan will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Newfoundland and Labrador, and departmental officials.

The availability will take place in the Media Centre in the Confederation Building at 1:30 p.m. It will be livestreamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s YouTube channel.
