“Physicians are driving change to build a stronger, more sustainable health care system for all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. The signing of this new agreement is a major step toward stabilizing the physician workforce and positioning the province as a competitive player on the national stage. It will help keep MUN medical graduates here at home and attract both Canadian and internationally trained physicians from abroad. By strengthening our ability to recruit and retain physicians, we’re paving the way for better access to care and healthier outcomes for patients throughout the province.”
