  • Families and Affordability

August 22, 2025

The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Families and Affordability, is pleased to announce that 27 youth-serving organizations across Newfoundland and Labrador have been approved for project funding through the Grants to Youth Organizations program. This year, a total of $276,500 in funding will be distributed to support initiatives that empower and engage young people throughout the province.

The Grants to Youth Organizations program helps youth-serving organizations create meaningful opportunities for inspiration, mentorship, and social inclusion. By enabling youth to gain valuable experiences and fostering connections between people of all ages, the program enriches communities and supports the overall well-being of youth in Newfoundland and Labrador.

This program supports projects that:

  • Encourage skills, knowledge and/or leadership development.
  • Support youth in contributing to their community, region and/or province.
  • Promote or support partnerships, collaboration, and inclusion.
  • Fill a gap in services.
  • Provide opportunities for innovative intergenerational activities that help build relationships between generations.
