Three forest access roads in Western Newfoundland will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic effective Monday, March 24, until further notice. Signage will be posted at gates leading to the closed roads.

Temporary closures are required to protect forest access roads from damage during the spring thaw period. Roads will remain open for snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle use.

The following roads are scheduled for temporary closure:

• Pasture Road, located off the TCH approximately four kilometres east of Robinsons turnoff.
• O’Regan’s Resource Road in in the community of O’Regan’s.
• Abitibi Road from the Burgeo Highway to Beothuk Lake.
