The annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims will be recognized by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador with a public event at Confederation Building on Friday (November 14).

The Honourable Mike Goosney, Minister of Government Services, will be joined by representatives of MADD Canada, the STAND for Hannah Foundation, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, who will speak in honour of those who have been killed or seriously injured in motor vehicle collisions.

The event will be held in the East Block Lobby of Confederation Building at 10:00 a.m.

Family members are invited to bring framed photos of their loved ones to be displayed at the event.
