The Honourable Andrew Parsons, KC, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, today announced funding totalling $340,232 from the Business Growth Program for six small and medium-sized enterprises looking to increase and improve their product marketing.
The six companies and organizations receiving funding are:
- 7 Fathoms Skin Care, Ltd. – $15,500
- Beaulieus Caribou Hunts (2005) Limited – $83,250
- Big Land Fishing Lodge and Tours Inc. – $39,353
- GFI Composites Ltd.– $50,000
- Rob Clark Motorsports Inc. – $86,304
- Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador – $65,825

BACKGROUNDER
7 Fathoms Skin Care, Ltd.
7 Fathoms Skin Care, Ltd. manufactures seaweed-based skin care products. The company is receiving $15,500 towards a digital marketing strategy, product positioning and investor pitch decks to support market growth of the company’s products, which are all-natural and locally manufactured.
Beaulieus Caribou Hunts (2005) Limited
Beaulieus Caribou Hunts (2005) Limited is a licensed outfitting operator and a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Outfitters Association. The client will receive $83,250 in support towards the cost of attending five trade shows in the US in 2025 and five in 2026. Funds will also be used for marketing enhancements and brand changes.
Big Land Fishing Lodge and Tours Inc.
Big Land Fishing Lodge and Tours runs an outfitting lodge and provides guided fishing services along the Pinware River and West St. Modeste in Southern Labrador. The company is receiving $39,353 to increase the marketing of the lodge and their services and to attend four fly fishing shows in 2025.
GFI Composites Ltd.
GFI Composites Ltd. provides fiberglass solutions for industrial and residential customers. The company will receive $50,000 to engage consultants to identify market opportunities, develop relationships with hydrogen developers and adapt protocols to respond to potential demand in the wind-hydrogen production industry.
Rob Clarke Motorsports Inc.
Rob Clarke Motorsports is an adventure tourism company serving the North-Central and Western portion of Newfoundland through guided tours, all-inclusive adventures and snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle and side-by-side rentals. RCM will receive $86,304 and this project will focus on increased marketing throughout Canada and the United States through attendance at industry trade shows. RCM will also upgrade their trade show booths and their associated advertising materials to highlight the recent upgrades and expansions that RCM has made.
Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador
Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador is a professional theatre company dedicated to the creation and development of new plays for and about the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. The organization is receiving $65,825 which will go towards developing new digital advertising content and increasing technology utilization to help them reach new patrons.
