A Newfoundland and Labrador startup building AI-driven enterprise software is receiving support from the Provincial Government to improve its product. The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, today announced an investment of $64,425 from the Business Growth Program in support of atlantiq AI and its Jarbiz software.
Jarbiz is an AI-powered copilot for enterprise use cases. It streamlines and drives efficiency in how knowledge workers tackle complex information challenges by automating time-consuming analysis and synthesis tasks involving large volumes of technical documents, legacy data, and diverse information sources. Jarbiz aims to accelerate highly regulated processes, improve decision-making accuracy, and help teams meet intricate project requirements more effectively.
Funding will be used to launch a pilot program to refine the Jarbiz platform and prepare for a full product launch targeting mid-sized enterprises. The project aims to enhance Jarbiz’s AI infrastructure by integrating advanced data processing, knowledge management, and robust governance capabilities necessary for handling complex, sensitive enterprise data. The Provincial Government investment will leverage $75,000 from other sources and $125,700 from the company for a total project investment of $265,125.
atlantiq AI employs eight people, including AI specialists and experienced business leaders, with plans to hire two more upon completion of this project.
The Business Growth Program provides non-repayable contributions for projects or initiatives to assist businesses start, innovate, scale and improve sales locally, nationally or internationally.
