The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology, will attend CANSEC 2025 today (Wednesday, May 28).

The two-day conference begins today and takes place at the EY Centre in Ottawa, Ont.

CANSEC is Canada’s leading defence, security and emerging technology conference and tradeshow, showcasing leading-edge technologies, products and services for land-based naval, aerospace and joint forces military units. More than 12,000 participants are expected.

The Department of Industry, Energy and Technology will attend to support provincial companies and engage with federal counterparts and other companies while actively promoting Newfoundland and Labrador as a strategic location to support Canada’s national defence objectives. The Minister will be joined by representatives from the department and 14 Newfoundland and Labrador companies.
