The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology and Minister Responsible for Trade Opportunities, is attending the VivaTech 2025 Event, June 11-14 in Paris, France.

VivaTech is Europe’s premier event for technology innovation, bringing together more than 165,000 attendees, 13,500 startups and 3,500 exhibitors. Key themes include artificial intelligence (AI), healthtech, mobility, sustainability and emerging startups.

Canada has been named Country of the Year and will send a delegation of approximately 500 people, with more than 170 technology and artificial intelligence organizations, showcasing innovation from across the country. Newfoundland and Labrador will be represented by Veristart, trophi.ai, Advantage St. John’s, techNL and Canada’s Ocean Supercluster.

The event offers a valuable platform for the Provincial Government and Newfoundland and Labrador organizations and companies to pursue partnerships, investment opportunities and new markets in Europe.
