The Honourable Paul Pike, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement, will bring greetings at an open house and ribbon cutting event for NordSpace on Sunday, August 24.

The event will take place at the launch site, located off Lighthouse Road in St. Lawrence, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

NordSpace is a Canadian space technology company that builds orbital launch vehicles, a commercial spaceport, satellite systems and hypersonic defence products. The company is planning its first demonstration suborbital rocket launch on the week of August 25, with the launch window opening on Monday.
