The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador invites high school students to drop by the Student Employment Job Fair at all 19 Employment Centres throughout the province on Wednesday, April 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This month’s job fair offers a new opportunity for students to connect directly with local employers. More than 100 employers have signed on to participate, and in some cases, students may even take part in on-the-spot interviews for available positions.

In addition to meeting employers, students can avail of the following services to support their career goals, including:

• Resume and cover letter development
• Interview preparation
• Job searching and networking
• Information on summer jobs
• Youth entrepreneurship support
• Volunteer opportunities

The event will feature a guided tour, a presentation on available services and complimentary food and drink.

High school students are encouraged to attend and learn how the Employment Centres can help them plan for their future. Youth are always welcome to visit their local Employment Centre anytime for guidance and resources.
