The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Jobs, Immigration and Growth, will hold a media availability today (Thursday, August 7) to announce new initiatives aimed at strengthening Newfoundland and Labrador’s skilled trades workforce and improving access to apprenticeship opportunities for women.

The availability will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Carpenters Millwright College, 89 McNamara Drive, Paradise.
