The Provincial Government is now accepting applications for the Newfoundland and Labrador Multiculturalism Grant Program. The program helps schools, organizations and communities deliver events and activities that create welcoming and inclusive environments, strengthen diversity and support newcomer retention throughout the province.
The Multiculturalism Grant Program reinforces this government’s commitment to building an equitable and inclusive province where diversity is celebrated and where everyone who calls Newfoundland and Labrador home feels welcomed, valued and heard.
Grants of up to $1,500 per organization are available to non-profit groups, municipalities and public education institutions. Special consideration will be given to initiatives focused on anti-racism, equity, diversity and inclusion. Grants will be assessed and awarded by region on a competitive basis.
Interested organizations must apply through the Labour Market Program Support System (LaMPSS) by Friday, January 30, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
K-12 public schools must follow the alternative submission process outlined in the program guidelines. Full program details and application instructions are available on the website.
