The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Labrador Affairs and Minister of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture, is participating in events tomorrow (August 23) organized by the NunatuKavut Community Council in celebration of Treaty Day. The events mark the British-Inuit Treaty of 1765.

The one-day celebration will commence with a flag-raising ceremony followed by cultural activities, traditional games and closing ceremonies.
