On behalf of the Provincial Government, the Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister of Labour and Minister of Rural Economic Development, recognizes Newfoundland and Labrador’s resilient and diverse workforce and extends sincere appreciation to all workers across the province for their ongoing contributions to our communities and economy.

Labour Day is a time to recognize the dedication and solidarity of workers who help shape our communities, and to reflect on the protections and supports that enable them to serve safely and effectively—especially in times of crisis.

This year, Labour Day will be recognized on Monday, September 1.
