The Honourable Fred Hutton, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, will attend the Canada Games Athletes’ Rally tonight (Wednesday, July 16). The athletes’ rally will take place at the PowerPlex, 90 Crosbie Road, St. John’s, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Minister Hutton will announce Team Newfoundland and Labrador’s flagbearer for the 2025 Canada Summer Games opening ceremonies.

Over 400 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff will represent Team Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, August 8-25.
