The nomination deadline for the 2025 Premier’s Medals for Arts, Heritage, Sports and Recreation has been extended. Submissions will now be accepted until Friday, September 19.

Announced in 2023, the Premier’s Medal for Arts, Heritage, Sports and Recreation represents the highest honour in Newfoundland and Labrador in these disciplines. The awards recognize individuals and groups whose exceptional contributions have made a lasting and outstanding impact on the province and its people.
