The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure wishes to advise that the T’railway will be temporarily closed at the Team Gushue Highway crossing starting Monday, August 4, for approximately six weeks.

This closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction of a new pedestrian underpass as part of the Team Gushue Highway final phase.

To ensure public safety, the T’railway will be closed at the two closest access points to the construction site. There will be no thoroughfare for pedestrians or cyclists during this time.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project.

The travelling public and trail users are encouraged to visit NL 511 for real-time updates on this closure and other construction-related impacts in the province.
