The Honourable Tony Wakeham, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host the 21st Annual Premier’s Athletic Awards on Thursday, January 15, at 4:30 p.m. The event will take place at The Works Field House, Memorial University, 17 Westerland Road, St. John’s.

Premier Wakeham will be joined by the Honourable Andrea Barbour, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, members of Team Gushue, and members of the Healey and Gushue families.

The Premier’s Athletic Awards recognize athletic excellence in Newfoundland and Labrador and provide financial support to help young athletes with the costs of training and competition.
