This week, the Honourable Tony Wakeham, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be participating in the 2026 Winter Meeting of the Council of the Federation with Canada’s Premiers on Wednesday, January 28.

The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial premiers.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is focused on providing better health care, lower taxes and safer communities for all of us. Collaboration with the provinces, territories and federal government is key to success.
