The Honourable Tony Wakeham, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will deliver a keynote address at Labrador West MINEx 2026 Convention and Trade Show.

The address takes place during a conference luncheon tomorrow (Tuesday, February 10) at the Wabush Hotel starting at 12:30 p.m.

Also speaking will be the Honourable Lloyd Parrott, Minister of Energy and Mines and the Honourable Lela Evans, Minister of Labrador Affairs and Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation. They will deliver remarks tomorrow beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Arts and Culture Centre, 300 Hudson Drive, Labrador City.

Joseph Power, MHA for Labrador West, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Labrador Affairs; and Keith Russell, MHA for Lake Melville, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation, will also be attending the conference.

MINEx is a three-day conference which promotes and celebrates Labrador West’s mining industry. The event features presentations, panel discussions, a trade show and social events.
