Applications for the Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program open today, January 12, until February 23, 2026.
The Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program aims to help farmers and producers adopt beneficial land use and management practices that increase the environmental resiliency of farms.
Initiatives include maintaining and providing healthy soil and water resources, enhancing wildlife habitat and biodiversity, and adapting to the impacts of climate change.
Applications and a program guide for 2026-27 are available on the department’s website.
Funding for the program is provided by the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a five-year (2023-2028), $3.5-billion agreement by federal, provincial and territorial governments to strengthen the competitiveness, innovation and resiliency of Canada’s agriculture, agri‐food and agri‐based products sector. This includes $1 billion in federal programs and activities, and an up to $2.5-billion commitment that is cost-shared 60 per cent federally and 40 per cent provincially/territorially for programs that are designed and delivered by provinces and territories.
