Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing to develop approximately 13 hectares of land for agriculture production on Burnt Berry Farm Road, approximately 15 kilometres west of the Town of Springdale. The land would be used for root crop production. Development would include the removal of trees, stumps, and stones as well as rock picking, applying soil amendments and planting crops.

• December 13, 2024 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 17, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• January 27, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• January 20, 2025 – The Minister determined the Project is released.
