Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct a 1 kilometre access road to join existing roads toprovide access to an outfitting lodge located on the eastern side of Caribou Lake, incentral Newfoundland. The proposed access road to be constructed will be located tothe south of Caribou Lake, approximately 3 kilometres from the outfitting lodge andapproximately 8 kilometres from the bridge on Southwest Gander River. Construction ofthe road is planned to commence in the spring of 2011, and will take approximately 1week to complete.

• February 15, 2011 – Public comments are due.
• February 24, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• March 24, 2011 – The undertaking was released.
