Project Description:
The Proponent is proposing to continue mineral exploration on mineral licences associated with the Queensway Gold Project by conducting trenching at three locations. Over a period of three to five years, four new trenches would be systematically excavated covering an area of approximately 12.90 hectares, with an estimated overburden removal volume of 317,860 cubic metres. Development would consist of land clearing, the removal and stockpiling of overburden material using excavators, washing of exposed bedrock and storage of used water in settling ponds, removal of material with dump trucks, and potential blasting for the construction of haul ramps. Proposed developments are considered temporary, and sites will be rehabilitated using stockpiled overburden material.
