Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop five multi-use trails for walking and biking as part of the Great Coastal Trail project. The proposed trail system would total approximately 32 kilometres in length and be located between Quirpon and Goose Cove at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula. Construction of the trail would include vegetation clearing and trail widening, tread construction, and installation of water crossings and signage.

• May 16, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 20, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• June 30, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 27, 2025 – The Minister determined the project is released.
