Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to expand Camp St. George by acquiring 23 hectares of Crown land adjacent to its current lease near South West Pond. The expansion would support youth recreational and educational programming. Construction would occur in four phases over 10 to12 years and would include trail building, tenting areas, cooking shelters, pit privies, and a parking lot.
- October 17, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
- November 21, 2025 – Deadline for public comment.
- December 1, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
- November 26, 2025 – The Minister determined the project is released.
