Project Description:

The proponent is proposing an amendment to the Crown Zone 3 Five-Year Forestry Operating Plan (2022-2026). The project is proposed in District 5, approximately 7.2 kilometers North of the town of Benton. The amendment would create a new harvest block covering 61 hectares, which would be balanced by reducing harvesting elsewhere in the district.

• June 9, 2025 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 14, 2025 – Deadline for public comments.
• July 24, 2025 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• July 21 2025 – The Minister determined the project is released.
