“One thing I’ve learned over nearly two decades in content is that people rarely remember facts alone – they remember how those facts made them feel. That’s why storytelling matters.

Stories are how we all make sense of the world – they make information meaningful, understandable and memorable. And with AI changing how content is created, the ability to uncover genuine human stories and tell them with clarity and authenticity has never been more important.”

What’s been your favourite project to date?

This is a tough one – the amazing clients we work with and the fascinating work we do is a huge reason why I have been with Stratton Craig so long. Every year brings new highlights!

Our work with De Beers Group will always be a big one for me. Over almost 10 years we helped De Beers share stories about groundbreaking and important initiatives focused on supporting the environment, its people and the communities in which it operates. It was both interesting and important to ensure the positive legacy and human impact of such initiatives was articulated with authenticity and clarity.

My career grew alongside this account and it was a pleasure to work with such talented people on high stakes communications like the Sustainability Report. And now to see Positive Change Group supporting De Beers Group more widely is incredibly rewarding.

When you’re not working, where can you be found?

Typically, enjoying the great outdoors with my family and Jago our Jackapoo – he’s as silly as he sounds. Or if I’m lucky, I’ll be over in Greece visiting family there and enjoying Bougatsa for breakfast!
