Project Description:

The Proponent is proposing a 49-hectare quarry area that would include its existing operations and would expand between between Lewin Parkway and Corner Brook Stream in the city of Corner Brook. Rock aggregate and overlying till would be used for long-term aggregate supply and asphalt production.

• May 15, 2024 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 19, 2024 – Deadline for public comments.
• June 29, 2024 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 27, 2024 – The Minister determined the Project is released.
